A public meeting of the Budget Committee for the City of Astoria, Clatsop County, State of Oregon, to discuss the proposed budget, including state revenue sharing, for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. at the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1095 Duane Street. In accordance with current social distancing measures, the City offices are currently closed to the public, and meetings will be held electronically.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation by the Budget Committee may take place.
The public is invited to attend electronically via Zoom utilizing the following URL to reach the options: https://www.astoria.or.us/LiVE_STREAM.aspx. This meeting will include a public hearing to receive comments from any person concerning the proposed budget and use of State shared revenues. A copy of the proposed budget may be inspected or obtained on or after 5:00 p.m., May 22, 2020, at the City of Astoria Website at www.astoria.or.us.
