City of Astoria Public Records Requests
Public Records requests are processed in the City Manager’s office. All requests must be submitted via email using this web form which will go to the City Manager’s Office, or by submitting a records request print out form to the City Manager's Office.
If the City of Astoria is the custodian of at least some of the requested public records an estimate of the time required to compile the data will be provided. If applicable, additional time may be added for review by the City Attorney.
The Public Records Law authorizes a public body to establish fees reasonably calculated to reimburse the public body for the actual cost of making records available. The hourly fee for records searches is from $20-$50 per staff hour. This does not included fees for legal review. Hourly fees in excess of $25 will not be waived. Fee Schedule
Records will be transmitted via email or may be viewed in person upon request. Paper copies of records are $.50 per page.
Prepayment is required before further action will proceed with this request. Payment may be sent to or dropped off at the City of Astoria, Attn: City Manager’s Office, 1095 Duane Street, Astoria, OR 97103 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
