The City of Astoria Building Division administers and enforces all aspects of the adopted codes in the Astoria City Limits, except the electrical codes which is the county’s jurisdiction. The building code program is a division of the Astoria Community Development Department and is self-supported by revenue collected from the review of submitted construction documents and the issuance of associated permits in accordance with the fee schedule approved by the Astoria City Council.
The City of Astoria Building Division office is located at 1095 Duane Street, City Hall, Astoria, Oregon 97103. Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Building Inspections are Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.
